
Aparna Barua Adams
Aparna is the Project Manager of the International Coalition for Trachoma Control (ICTC), a multi-stakeholder membership of partners working together for the global elimination of trachoma as a public health problem. Aparna holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow and a Master's degree in the Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. With over 10 years experience in global health advocacy, policy and public affairs, Aparna's expertise lies in stakeholder engagement and influencing political and policy platforms within the UK, EU, G7, G20, Commonwealth and UN. Aparna is currently the Co-Chair of the NTD NGO Network's (NNN) Sustainable Systems Working Group, and is the ICTC representative to the UK Coalition against NTDs and the US NTD Roundtable.
